The Council supervises the Institute's overall performance.

• The University of Gdańsk: Economic Policy Department
  
• Member and the secretary of the Supervisory Board of Lotos Group
• Uniwersytet Gdański: Katedra Polityki Gospodarczej.
• Członek i Sekretarz Rady Nadzorczej Grupy Lotos S.A., the second largest Polish producer anddistributor of fuels
• Expert of Polish think-tanks: Adam Smith Institute, Sobieski Institute, Polish Economists' Association
  
• Specialist in taxation systems. Author and editor of a few books (also with members of the Board of Directors of the Institute).

On the basis of the Institue's statute, its activity is also supervised by the Polish Minister of Economy.
